Ski resorts in Poland

Polish skiing splits into several distinct worlds. The Tatras and Podhale offer the longest descents and the most reliable snow; the Beskids have the greatest number of stations and the shortest drive from Upper Silesia; the Sudetes hold the highest runs outside the Tatras and the longest season. On top of that come the lowland slopes, which for anyone living in central Poland are simply the nearest place to learn.

Every resort in this guide is described the same way: how many runs and lifts it has, its vertical drop, whether it is snowed and floodlit, which level it is built for, how to get there and when the season realistically lasts. No “top 10” rankings — just figures and specifics, so the slopes can actually be compared.

Zone4 does not own any of these stations. We run a ski school in Warsaw and are building ZoneCloud — a system for booking a lesson with a named instructor at a specific hour. In further resorts we are building the instructor network and opening bookings alongside it.

Resorts are grouped by region and, within a region, ordered from largest to smallest by total run length. If you are looking for a place to learn, focus on wide, gentle runs and the presence of a ski school and magic carpets rather than total kilometres. If you want to ride a lot and fast, look at the number of chairlifts and the vertical drop.

Run and lift data is gathered from station operators’ own pages and reviewed before the season, but always check pass prices, lift operating hours and current conditions with the operator — they change during the season.

ZoneCloud is a booking system for freelance instructors: a public profile, a calendar of free slots, online bookings and payments, and settlements in one place. The instructor sets their own availability and rate; we bring the students and handle the admin.

We are recruiting ski and snowboard instructors at every resort on this list. The arrangement is non-exclusive — you can teach with us alongside your own clients or a local ski school. SITN-PZN or equivalent qualifications are a plus, but confident riding and working well with people matter most.
