Szwajcaria Bałtowska — guide to the resort

The station lies in the Bałtów foothills on the edge of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains — the natural terrain offers longer and more varied descents than city slopes. There are runs of varying difficulty, about 2.5 km in total:

• gentle sections for beginners and children learning to ski,
• a ~500 m red run — the station’s longest descent, for more confident skiers,
• floodlit slopes — evening skiing included.

Skiers are carried by a 4-person chairlift and platter lifts, and first-timers have short beginner lifts by the nursery slope — that is where our “from zero” groups start.

The runs have artificial snowmaking, so the season does not depend on nature alone — with favourable temperatures it usually lasts from December to early March. Floodlights allow evening skiing, which on trips means more time on the snow in a single day.

Check current conditions and opening hours with the station before you travel — and if you come with us, we monitor them for you and keep everyone informed before departure.

There is an equipment rental and food outlets by the slope — no need to drive anywhere for a warm meal between runs. Zone4 trip participants can also use our own rental: skis or a board, boots and a helmet in a full size range are handed out in Warsaw, so you skip the queues on site.

The slope is part of the Bałtów Tourist Complex — one of the largest leisure complexes in Poland. Right next door you will find JuraPark with its dinosaur park and an animal park visited safari-style. A big plus for family trips and camps: there is plenty to do after training.

We run ski lessons and snowboard lessons here — privately and in groups of up to 6. We bring participants of one-day trips from Warsaw, and during the winter break we run winter day camps here.
