Ski lessons — Szwajcaria Bałtowska

Zone4 ski training at the Szwajcaria Bałtowska station in Bałtów. Natural runs of varying difficulty let you learn in stages — from first descents by a short lift to confident riding from the chairlift.

Why Szwajcaria Bałtowska is a great place to learn

The Bałtów station has what a learner needs at every stage: gentle sections with short lifts for first steps, and longer, more demanding runs — led by the ~500 m red — once your technique starts to click.

  • natural terrain — learning “real” skiing, not just a short slope,
  • a 4-person chairlift — a comfortable ride up and more energy for descents,
  • snowmaking and floodlights — stable conditions all season,
  • progression in one place: from getting used to skis to longer, flowing descents.

What Zone4 training in Bałtów looks like

On one-day trips from Warsaw training lasts 2×2 h in level-matched groups of up to 6, with an all-day ski pass included. On winter camps and multi-day trips we ski every day — the fastest route from zero to independent riding, with counsellor care and time for Bałtów’s attractions.

Arranged in advance, private lessons at the slope are also possible — call us and we will match an instructor and date.

Equipment and preparation

We have our own rental — skis, boots and helmets in a full size range; on trips the equipment is handed out in Warsaw. The station also runs its own rental. We do not rent clothing — prepare warm, waterproof clothes, gloves and goggles yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How much do ski lessons in Bałtów cost?
A one-day trip from Warsaw with 2×2 h of training and an all-day ski pass costs from PLN 439/person. Camp prices are published at sign-up, and private lessons are priced when booking.
Is Szwajcaria Bałtowska suitable for beginners?
Yes — gentle sections with short lifts are ideal for first steps, and complete beginners can join a smaller "from zero" group (up to 4 people). Once the basics settle, we move to longer runs.
From what age do you teach children?
From the age of 4 — the youngest learn through play. For multi-day trips and camps we usually invite slightly older children.
Do I need my own skis?
No. For a trip add-on (PLN 60) you can rent skis, boots and a helmet from us — handed out in Warsaw before departure. The station also runs its own rental.
How long until I can ski on my own?
A training day (4 h with an instructor) gets most beginners descending confidently in a snowplough. After a few days — e.g. on a camp — students usually ski independently and start parallel turns.
Where exactly is the slope?
Szwajcaria Bałtowska lies in Bałtów (Bałtów 8a, 27-423 Bałtów), Świętokrzyskie Province near Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski — about 2 hours by car from Warsaw. On trips we offer transport from Warsaw.
