Family ski trips — Austria and Czechia

A family ski trip with an instructor — organised by a ski school from Warsaw. Our instructors travel with you: children train under the care of our staff while parents ski at their own pace. Sign-ups of interested families are open now.

A ski trip with your own instructor

We are a ski school from Warsaw — day to day we teach at Górka Szczęśliwicka, run winter day camps and organise one-day ski trips. The next step is longer, family ski trips to Austria and Czechia.

The key difference compared with going on your own: our instructors travel with you. It is the same team you know from Warsaw — you do not have to look for an unfamiliar local ski school in another language; your children stay with instructors they already know from classes.

Children train while parents ski

We plan the day so that every member of the family benefits. Children train in small, level-matched groups — exactly as on our one-day trips — while parents ski their own runs at their own pace.

After training you meet on the slope or over a shared meal. Parents who want to work on their own technique can ask about lessons for themselves too — we will announce the programme details together with the dates.

Why Austria and Czechia for families?

Czechia is the nearest “real mountains” for Warsaw families — a shorter drive, gentle and wide runs, and resorts friendly to beginners. A great choice for a first family trip and the first longer runs after learning at Górka Szczęśliwicka.

Austria means large, snow-sure resorts with extensive infrastructure: bigger vertical drops, long runs of varying difficulty and conditions that let the whole family ski regardless of level.

We will match specific resorts to the level and needs of the group — among the destinations we are considering are Czech resorts near the border and family-friendly regions of the Austrian Alps. Destinations and dates will be announced to those on the interest list.

Our trip experience

We are not starting from scratch. For years we have taken students on one-day trips to the Szwajcaria Bałtowska and Rybno slopes — with transport, training in small groups and staff care throughout the day. During the winter break we run ski day camps, and through the rest of the season — lessons at Górka Szczęśliwicka.

Training is led by our team — PZN-licensed instructors who work with children and adults of every level all year round.

Sign-ups of interested families — ask about a place

Family trips to Austria and Czechia are just launching — we are now building a list of interested families. We are not publishing dates or prices yet: we will announce them once the programme of the first trips is finalised. Those on the list will hear first.

Ask about a place on a trip

Frequently asked questions

When will the first trips to Austria and Czechia take place?
The offer is just launching — sign-ups of interested families are open. We will announce destinations, dates and prices once the programme of the first trips is finalised. Leave your details via the form or the contact page and you will hear from us first.
Do the instructors really travel with us?
Yes — that is the whole idea of these trips. Training is led by our instructors from Warsaw (PZN-licensed staff), not a ski school hired locally. Your child trains with the team they know from classes in Poland.
Does my child need to ski before the trip?
They do not need to be advanced — groups are matched by level, just like on our one-day trips. It is worth getting your child used to skis beforehand, for example at lessons at Górka Szczęśliwicka — they will get much more out of the trip.
What do parents do while the children train?
They ski at their own pace on the resort runs. We plan the day so children’s training overlaps with the parents’ free skiing time, and after the sessions the family meets on the slope or over a meal.
How much does such a trip cost?
We are not publishing prices yet — they depend on the destination, dates and programme, which we are finalising now. Exact amounts will be shared when sign-ups for the first trips open. Those on the interest list will get them first.
